Formed anno 1994 Dark Fortress have established themselves in the top ranks of the genre with captivating, intense live shows and fascinating pitch black full-length masterpieces that meet the standard created mostly in northern Europe’s prolific scenes with ease. Their first musical sign of life was the 1996 released demo “Rebirth Of The Dark Age” which as a matter of fact was the hour of birth of a soon to become truly dark and mesmerizing band.

Sigh is one of the most original and influential still-active black metal bands; their fame stretches far beyond their home land of Japan. In their early days, their main influences included bands such as Venom, Celtic Frost, the more popular Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath as well as horror movies soundtracks. Having initially played pretty 'classical' black metal, over the past 17 years they have been continuously changing and improving their sound. The wide variety of their songs includes thrash metal, epic tracks filled with synthesizers. and even psychedelic songs with clear 70's influences. They were also amongst the first black metal bands to extensively use the keyboards.

They don't play live very often. One of the reasons is the fact that during recording, they often use a large number of instruments, even such unusual (for a metal band) ones such a sitar, mellotron, or saxophone.

Thyrane was originally formed in 1994 when Blastmor, the mastermind of the band, and two other musicians began playing their first chords of blasphemy. After writing some songs and going through several changes within the line-up, Blastmor finally found the dedicated guitarist Daemon and bass player R. Grönholm in 1996, and so the banner of evil was finally raised high.

Thrudvangar is a German viking black metal band formed in Köthen / Sachsen-Anhalt in 1998.
In 2004 they released first album ‘Ahnenthron’ (often tagged as pagan metal).
In 2006 Thrudvangar released another album called ‘Walhall’ and in the next year rereleased ‘Ahnenthron’. In 2007 Thrudvangar released ‘Zwischen Asgard und Midgar’.

Formed in 1988 by Deorth, Morgoth and Cernunnos. A self-titled demo was released in 1991 and after circulating minor rehearsal tapes the bands definitive demo, Beloved of the Raven God was released in 1995. This prompted Neat Records to sign the band which led to the release of the first album To Mend an Oaken Heart in '97.
