Sabaton was formed back in 1999 in Falun, Sweden and worked hard with demos and small club shows just like any other band. An album was recorded in 2002 bearing the name of Fist for Fight on an independent label in Italy, but was never released. By 2004, the band was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of marketing opportunities available for their album, so eventually they decided that their best strategy would be start over with new material.

Battlelore is an epic fantasy metal band from Lappeenranta, Finland. Their style takes elements from many different heavy metal subgenres, including melodic death metal, folk, power, gothic metal and even some industrial in the mix. All of Battlelore’s lyrics specifically revolve around people and events in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth.

The band Stormwarrior, hailing from Northern Germany, was founded in 1998 by Lars Ramcke (Vocals/ Guitar) and Andrè Schumann (Drums) and in the same year added Scott Bölter (Guitar) and Tim Zienert (Bass). Greatly inspired by the 80’s metal scene, especially from the Hamburg Metal godfathers like Helloween and Running Wild, Stormwarrior were able to lay down their first songs to tape in 1999.

Crimfall is a young soul; it came to being on a wildfire season, Autumn 2007 as one man’s vision. Jakke composed a demo of three songs just for himself but he soon noticed that the material was unique, diverse and strong to stand on its own feet in front of wider audiences. What was still needed was some talent to fulfill the forceful yet melancholic music he had composed, someone to bring the stories of songs to life with voice of both beauty and power. In the end Jakke decided to bring two people to finish his line-up, voices with contrast and variance, as Mikko and Helena joined the band. So was the first recording of Crimfall born, “Burning Winds”.

This band is one of the best known in Spain and even more in South America and they are from our region of the good wine, La Rioja xD but i dont like them at all, their earlier albums were better.

Tierra Santa is a spanish-singing Heavy-Metal-band from La Rioja (Spain). The Band was formed in 1997 by Ángel, Arturo, Roberto, Iñaki and Tomy. With much effort they first were autoproduced. Later they started their break-through (mainly in spanish-speaking countries), when they went on tour with Avalanch and Mägo de Oz. In 2004 they toured through the United States for the first time.

Running Wild was one band from a wave of German Heavy metal bands to emerge in the early/mid 1980s (along with Helloween, Rage, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, etc). The music they play is compilation of heavy, power and speed metal. The band has carved its niche in the metal world as the first “pirate metal” band, a theme which took off with the release of Under Jolly Roger in 1987. The band played their farewell show at the Wacken Open Air 2009, for which setlist fans voted for.

Celesty was formed 1998 in town called Seinäjoki, Finland. First line-up was totally different than today, only bassist Ari Katajamäki (b. 1979) and drummer Jere Luokkamäki (b. 1979) are left from those days. In the year 1999 Tapani Kangas (b. 1980) joined the band as a guitar player and Celesty made their first demo in summer 1999, which was recorded only for themselves and wasn’t released or sent anywhere. In a short time after that Ari, Jere and Tapani noticed the potential of the band, but knew that something had to be done, so they decided to sign off some members and they started to replaced them with new ones.

Sabaton was formed back in 1999 in Falun, Sweden when the members of a band called “Aeon” reformed and rearmed for the upcoming first recording in Moon Music Studio. The founding members of Aeon: Rikard, Pär and Daniel Mullback had joined forces with Oskar and Joakim earlier during the year which had seen a few line-up changes and the guys decided on a fresh start and changed the name of the band to Sabaton.
